Many caregivers in the U.S. have learned that adult day care provides a respite for them and a welcoming place for their loved one who is no longer home alone for hours each day. At VNACF/CCE's Adult Day Center, clients enjoy socialization, hot meals, exercise, crafts, field trips, entertainment, or they may choose to sit quietly and read one of the many available magazines and books. The mental and physical stimulation of being among peers with a client-focused staff and caring volunteers livens up their daily routine.

Eligibility and Rates: VNACF/CCE uses a state-developed assessment tool, based on monthly income, to determine eligibility for everyone who applies for care. A waiting list for non-paying clients is prioritized according to need. For clients who can afford to pay, contact the Adult Day Center for information about our reasonable hourly and daily rate, which includes lunch, snacks, and activities. Pick-up and drop-off van transportation is available on a limited basis.

Clients may stay for a few hours or the entire day.
